The lab hosted Dr. Todd Gruber from Christopher Newport University. Todd did seminal work on the reaction of UDP-galactopyranose mutase during his graduate studies. We used many of the procedures that he developed. He gave a great seminar in out Department.
Welcome to Dr. Lesley Anne Giddings from Middlebury College, VT. He will be conducting some work on flavin-dependent monooxygenases.
We welcome Dr. Renata Reis to our group. Renata will be working on inhibitor identification and structural elucidation of several proteins in the lab. She completed her PhD from the lab of Dr. Nonato in Brazil and also did a postdoc in the lab of Dr. Gadda at Georgia State U. Welcome to the group, Renata!
Ryan is our new technician. Ryan graduated from the College of William and Mary and then worked at Pharmaceutical Product Development before coming to VT. Welcome to the group!
